Awarded 5 Stars by respected wine critic James Halliday, Clairault is one of the oldest vineyards in Margaret River, established in the 1970's at the same time as the likes of Cullen, Leeuwin and Moss Wood. Owned by the Martin family today, it produces some of Margaret Rivers' best wines.

Boasting 90 Points by James Halliday and Robert Parker this wine has dominating flavours of honeydew melon, pineapple and green pear fruit. Lingering in the background is the perfume of quality French oak, a subtle vanillin sweetness. On the palate the fruit is held together with a balanced acidity. The same fruit flavours from the aroma follow through to the palate which is almost silky in its texture. The palate shows great balance and minimal wood flavours.
