Elephant Hill 2009 Merlot features serious merlot style. Harvested by hand from the hillside vineyard overlooking Cape Kidnappers, on the East Coast of the North Island, where the cooling sea breeze extended the growing season resulting in delicious ripe fruit.

The Merlot grapes were destemmed and fermented, then pressed to new oak barriques, creating a classic elegant Merlot of timeless character. Black fruits, mocha and herbes de provence flavours and a long lingering finish.
