How can I unsubscribe from Everything But Flowers Newsletters?
If you do not wish to receive our regular email updates then please go the Unsubscribe form and fill in your email address exactly as you are subscribed. Please do not reply to the newsletter to unsubscribe. The mail box is not monitored regularly and your request may not be actioned.
How can I update my personal details?
You can update your personal details at any time by logging in to the Change Details form with your email address and date of birth and making any changes as required.
Can I send Everything But Flowers Gifts from overseas?
We can accept orders from customers outside Australia, however delivery is only available within Australia at this time. To order from outside Australia, please call +61 2 9352 3150 or order online.
Do prices on your site include GST?
All prices quoted in Australian dollars including GST where applicable.
How can I pay for my purchases?
Please pay by Bankcard, Mastercard, Amex or Visa in Australian dollars only.
On processing your order, we must authorise the full amount of the payment, including freight. Before despatching your order we will debit your credit card for the authorised amount.
Some Everything But Flowers hampers include Liquor and Tobacco. Can I buy them?
Gift Hampers including alcohol and/or tobacco may only be purchased by and delivered to persons over the age of 18 years. Everything But Flowers and its couriers reserve the right not to sell or deliver goods to persons/gift recipients under 18 years.
Any gifts which cannot be delivered because recipients are under 18 years will be returned to Everything But Flowers by courier with any additional courier cost borne by the customer.
Please note that all gift hampers containing alcohol must be purchased for another recipient and may not be purchased on your own behalf.
When will my purchase arrive?
If the item ordered is a Next day Despatch item, your gift(s) will be despatched the next day. Non-stocked items will be despatched within 7 days. If there is a delay with the supplier, we will contact you to notify you the expected date of delivery of your item.
Ensuring that our customers are 100% satisfied is of the utmost importance to the Everything But Flowers team, however we are unable to accept returns on food items, cosmetics or sale items (unless faulty).
The product received is missing some items
For photographic purposes, some products have been featured with additional lifestyle props. Unless an item is listed in the web description, it is not included in the gift. All gifts and packages are fairly described in the content area of the product order screen.
I want to return a Gift
Gifts may not be returned. If an individual item within the gift is damaged or defective, Everything But Flowers will consider a replacement. We reserve the right to determine if a gift is damaged or defective prior to replacement. We will organise a replacement when the unused defective product is returned to us.
If a product is deemed to be faulty, normal warranty conditions for that product apply. It is the recipient's responsibility to incur all costs and to follow warranty instructions as stated on the product warranty card as specified by the manufacturer. Please note that all products that are found to be non-defective will incur the delivery costs of returning the item to Everything But Flowers.

When you return an item please indicate (in writing) the reason for the return (damage, defect, incorrect product). Replacement goods will only be despatched after receipt of the faulty product. We recommend you return goods via courier or Australia Post Office and keep the appropriate proof of return. Otherwise, if the returned item goes missing in transit to us, you will be deemed not to have returned the item.

Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card is a pre-paid single-load Visa card, that can be used at any store where VISA is accepted and can be processed electronically. Ideal as a gift, a Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card comes with a personalised card and allows the user to select from a range of stores.
What should I know when ordering a Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card?
When you order a Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card, you will be required to agree to the card Terms & Conditions after you click the "Buy Now" button. Please read these before proceeding.
You should be particularly careful when entering delivery details, particularly the address to which the card will be posted.
If these details are wrong and another card has to be issued to replace the first card, then another issuance fee (the purchase premium over the card’s face value) will be payable.
How is the Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card activated?
The spending power of the Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card is locked and must be activated before it can be used. The card user needs to visit universalgiftcard.com.au or phone the number shown on the card. The user will need to enter the card number and the four-digit authentication code which is advised when the card is received. (See details above.)
What should the cardholder do if he or she has trouble activating the card online?
If the problem seems to be with the authentication code, the cardholder may contact us for assistance by email on email@example.com specifying at least their card number, name and address.
Where can the Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card be used?
The card can be used in any store in Australia or overseas where a VISA pre-paid card is accepted, provided the merchant can process it electronically.
The Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card can be used for full or part payment for goods and services. Any number of purchases can be made with the card until the balance has dropped to zero. If the purchase amount exceeds the balance, the user must pay the excess using another payment method. No change will be given.
It cannot be used for purchases by mail or telephone.
Are Universal Prepaid Gift Cards accepted at all stores?
AA small number of merchants displaying the VISA logo are not electing to accept prepaid VISA Gift Cards, including the Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card. At these stores, using your card will cause the terminal to display the messag – "Card Not Supported".
The Woolworths Group now accepts Visa prepaid gift cards including Universal Prepaid Gift Cards (effective April 1, 2011). Woolworths group includes: Woolworths, Safeway, BIG W, Dick Smith Electronics, Power House Tandy, Caltex Woolworths, Caltex Safeway, Woolworths Liquor, Safeway Liquor, Woolworths homeshop, Safeway homeshop, BWS, Dan Murphy.
Why might a proposed transaction using a Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card be declined?
There are several possibilities:
Can the card be used to get cash from an ATM?
No. Sorry. The card does not have a PIN, so it cannot be used at an ATM.
Can the Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card be reloaded with more spending power?
If a merchant asks "Credit or Cheque or Savings?" what is the correct response?
Credit. Even though a pre-paid card is not a credit card, we use credit card settlement processes.
Does the Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card have an expiry date?
Yes. It will expire at the end of the month shown on the front of the card. Most cards have a life of 12 to 13 months from date of issue. After its expiry any purchase authorisation requests made by merchants will be declined, and any balance will be forfeited.
Does the value on Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card earn interest?
Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card is a single-load card that does not earn interest and cannot be topped up with additional funds. It cannot be returned for a refund.
Are there any fees for using the card or checking its balance or transactions?
There are no fees for using the card. The entire balance on the card is for the cardholder’s use.
Visiting the web site is free – to check the card balance or transactions or for any other purpose.
Phone calls will generally attract a small fee – but the cardholder will be advised of that fee and given the chance to hang up before any amount is charged to the Card balance.
What about tips in a restaurant?
At restaurants, hotels, hairdressers etc where tips are customary, up to 20% is added to the base value of the transaction when seeking authorisation and the user should ensure the card’s balance covers that extra 20%.
How can the user check the balance – the value left on the card?
The card user can check the card's available balance or view their transactions with the card at any time by visiting universalgiftcard.com.au or by phoning 1800 174 239 (or +1 954 514 8958 if you are outside Australia). Merchants cannot do a balance enquiry through their point-of-sale system. Checking the card balance or transaction record online is free. There is a small charge for phone enquiries.
What if the Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Card is lost or stolen?
Phone 1800 174 239 (or +1 954 514 8958 if you are outside Australia) immediately to report a stolen card so we can stop any subsequent transactions from being authorised. If you have lost the card and think you will find it again you may take the precaution of suspending it by visiting universalgiftcard.com.au. Remember to unsuspend it after you find it.
If the balance on the card exceeds $15 at the time you report its loss, you may order a replacement card, which will be loaded with the balance of the lost/stolen/damaged card at the time its loss was reported, less an administration fee of $15.
What about security?
Like all payment cards, pre-paid cards should be safeguarded, treated like cash. However Universal Prepaid VISA Gift Cards are more secure than cash, because the holder's signature is required for a purchase. And if your card is lost or stolen, you can report its loss so it can be disabled and replaced, unlike many store cards.
